Throughout my career, ‘Golden Threads’ have arisen from the opportunity to engage with some of the most famous and influential people of our times, getting to know them, absorbing their life stories with a mixture of sadness and laughter, creating fond and everlasting memories.
There are 34 famous personalities. A page of text and their photograph which relates to the story, appearing on the opposite page. Each story is totally different, capturing the essence of the sitter as though reported by a ‘fly on the wall!’ But a fly that had great sensitivity! In some cases, the personality has added a quote, which appears in italics at the foot of the page of text.

2020
In 2020 I produced two publications, both books to raise awareness and funds for Lymphoedema Research.
“Blissful Isolation” which I worked upon during the ‘lockdown’ months, in Chipping Norton, Oxon, under very difficult circumstances. The weather was an enormous help which allowed me to be out and about photographing. I was interviewed on BBC TV and broadcasted on BBC Radio Oxford. The 'lockdown' story is a great success as it will be a memento of our time.
The second book “Aqua” I managed to finish after lockdown and has just been marketed. I must compliment in particular, Mary Fickling, who has tirelessly promoted this book on her site ‘Physiopod’ helping to publicise it throughout the UK, with her lively videos and constant reviews of complimentary letters. I received a great deal of press from The Times, The Mayfair Times, The Mirror, The Chipping Norton News and others. The launch has been postponed for 6 months due to the Covid Pandemic.
Both books were sponsored by private individuals.
My 'Season's Greetings cards', designed by artist Rob & Nick Carter, are now running for a further year, having been a total success and now being reprinted, with all proceeds going to Lymphoedema Research. Supported by Dame Judi Dench CH DBE
